Florida... Hills???
Well, actually we fly off the local landfill. Yes, A LANDFILL! As we are always on the upwind side it works out very well.

Please be aware that membership in the Pompano Hill Flyers club along with AMA membership and your signature on a legal release form (required by Waste Management) is needed before you come to visit. You can't just show up there and gain admittance. See the website for details. The flying site is located at the Waste Management landfill at Sample Road and Florida's Turnpike in Pompano Beach. |
